The Lola T70 was the car that Eric Broadley thought the Ford GT40 should have been. It was very successful in its day, though not so much in endurance races, and is now very successful in historic racing. John Surtees won the first Can-Am Series in 1966 driving a T70. Author John Starkey knows the T70 well, having owned and raced T70s. As a former curator of the Donington racing car collection, he hs been in a position to compile a vast amount of information about the Lolas. This is a remarkable reference for anyone interested in sports racing cars of the late 1960s.
