Producer's notes: The Imperial War Museum's September show at Duxford has now become one of the foremost shows on the airshow calendar with a huge variety of displays that included the Red Arrows and, for the first time in 4 years, the Avro Vulcan. This show was blessed with blue skies and clear air. History at this important museum site was well covered by a plethora of warbirds including the newly restored Mkl Spitfire new Duxford resident, a 'razorback' P-47 Thunderbolt. The Royal Flying Corps anniversary with rare RES and Albatross with FokkerTriplane and Nieuport 17 replicas was especially poignant.
