Meg studied Classics at Cambridge, sailed from England to Alaska, and worked as a journalist in London and Moscow. She has published two historical novels, The Girl King and The Empress, and run a London park cafe. Chris studied Chemistry at New College, Oxford. He spent his youth teaching sailing, racing dinghies and sailing yachts across oceans, and now works in the City.
