In service with the Royal Air Force from 1956 to 1984, the Vulcan Bomber holds very special place in British aviation history. These stregic bombers where cabale of some phenomenally long missions - indeed one was over 18,000 kilometers than involved three re-fuellings and took over 20 hours. It was these strategic capabilities that meant the aircraft was trusted with the United Kingdoms nuclear deterrent until the mantle was passed to the Royal Navys submarine service. XH558 was the last of this amazing aircraft to grace the skies and was only retired in 2015 (although it is still held in taxiable condition at Doncaster Sheffiled Airport). This Vulcan To The Sky Calendar 2021 relives the glory of the XH558 has fabulous monthly images of the much loved aircraft.
