Description: The ACCO truck was introduced by International Harvester in Australia as the AACO in 1961, based on trucks built for the Australian armed forces. The story began almost ten years earlier when development of the military trucks started in 1952. This book tells the story from the tentative beginnings in 1952 through the AACO to the ACCO that first appeared in 1967 and is still in production, much improved and now under Iveco ownership, but still an AACO. It is a great story for anyone interested in the Australian transport industry and Aussie trucks.
