He focuses on the wide equipment range produced for the British-made Ferguson TE tractors, but also includes equipment made in the United States for Ford Ferguson and Ferguson TO tractors. There is reference to implements made for the South Africa market, and a colour section reproduces present-day advertising material from India, where Ferguson style implements are still manufactured. The book is exceptionally well illustrated with approximately 450 photographs & illustrations which are accompanied by text providing basic technical details of the equipment. Most of this is taken from original manufacturers` literature supplemented with other material from Ferguson enthusiasts. This is a large and comprehensive book that illustrates and describes the majority of implements and accessories for Ferguson tractors. It covers the early Ferguson Brown, the later Ford-Ferguson, Ford 8N, Ferguson TE series, Massey-Harris-Ferguson and early Massey-Ferguson including the US made TO Ferguson and the Ferguson 35 and 65. Some the implements include: combine harvester, air compressors, hammer mill, winch, hedgecutter, dual wheel kits, fork lift, along with the host of more conventional harrows, ploughs, rakes etc. Each implement is illustrated, and there is plenty of text describing the development and use of the implement.
