Description: This book shows the reader an amazing collection of superb photographs from the 1965 Sebring 12 Hours race, won by Jim Hall and Hap Sharp in a Chaparral. The photographs are by Dave Friedman, official photographer for the Shelby American team, whose deal with Shelby gave him ownership of the photographs after the event. While there are many shots of Shelby American entered Ford GTs and Cobras, there are also plenty of shots of the Chaparrals, Ferraris, Corvette Grand Sports and other entries. Drivers and other racing identities including Jim Hall, Phil Hill, Roger Penske (Chaparral team manager for the event), Ken Miles, Dan Gurney and mark Donohue provide their views of the race. It is a great insight into endurance racing in the mid-1960s
