Description: Since the original Nürburgring opened in 1927 there have been almost 80 years of racing. Until fairly recent times, the racing was mainly on the Nordschleife, but it continues on the new Nürburgring. This photographic tribute to the Nürburgring uses photgraphs from different eras to build a fictitious race weekend. The problems of getting to the `Ring over the decades are shown first, then the other parts of a race weekend, with equivalent scenes for the past 8 decades grouped together. There are F1 cars, sports cars, touring cars and historic racers, with many pictures from the 1000 Kilometres race. Text is in German and English and it is a great book to dip into and a delight for any racing fan.
