Tony Marsh was a former British Hillclimb Champion and racing driver. He took the hillclimb title six times in all, with two hat-tricks ten years apart, 1955-1957 and 1965-1967. He also raced sports cars and single seaters up to and including Formula One plus a win in the Index of Thermal Efficiency at Le Mans in 1960 with a 750cc Lotus Elite. He was also a skilled pilot, ski-bobber, sailor, a fine shot and more - a man of many talents. This is his story as told with great humour by the man himself in 2006, when he was still competing regularly in hillclimbs at the age of 75. Sadly, he died after a short illness in 2009. He has left us this autobiography, a great read and an insight into an age and a generation when drivers were less specialised and almost certainly had more fun!
