Description: Until Studebaker ceased production in 1966, it was the oldest vehicle manufacturer in North America. This collection of period magazine articles tells the story of Studebaker models from 1947 to the end of production. The 1947 Studebaker was the first of the "coming or going" cars with the now common three box shape. The Avanti, the last new Studebaker, introduced an avant garde shape, but under neath was the same basic chassis as in 1947, which might explain a lot. All of this and more is expalined in this book, which every Studebaker fan should have.
