Description: Porsche contested the Mille Miglia from 1952 until the last classic race in 1957. This book tells the story of the Stuttgart firm`s efforts in the 1000 miles race through Italy. The cars used varied from the lightweight 356SLs in 1952 to the 1500RS models that dominated the 1500cc class in 1957. There were many 356 models entered over the six years including the very rapid Carrera models and their efforts are described in Italian and English in this excellent book.
