Those demands were met in 1961 by the introduction of the Mini Cooper with a higher performance engine. uprated suspension and disc brakes. A legend was born.
We trace the history of the Mini Cooper from the original concept through to the present day. We particularly focus on its sporting pedigree as one of the most successful international rally cars of all time with a wealth of never-before-seen 1960s colour archive film of the 'works' cars on rallies, recces and practice.
