Description: In the 1950s, the Rootes Group published a magazine for its customers in the style of The Autocar and The Motor, leading motoring magazines of the day in the UK. This book is a compilation of extracts from company magazines originally published in 1951, 1952 and 1953. It gives the reader an insight into the world of motoring from the point of view of one of Britain`s most successful motor manufacturers of the 1950s. For those too young to remember, Rootes Group meant Hillman, Humber and Sunbeam-Talbot cars and Commer and Karrier trucks.
