Description: From the first 1927 model La Salles to the final 1940 models, La Salle provided a stylish, less expensive option for Cadillac buyers. By 1940 the La Salles were consistently outselling Cadillac and they cost just as much to build. The 1941 La Salle was badged and sold as a Cadillac and, apart from a number of show cars in the post war years, two of which hit the showrooms as the Buick Riviera and Cadillac Seville, the La Salle name has been consigned to history. This excellent large format book tells the whole story of La Salle and how it influenced General Motors design for many years. It is a great reference for any owner or restorer of a La Salle, but it is also a great read for any classic car enthusiast.
