Longbridge is still going, building Rover 75s for the new owners now that BMW has sold Rover back to Britain. It begins with the stately Edwardian Austins of those early years, passes through the era of the Austin 7 and the Issigonis years of BMC to the Leyland years, Rover Group and BMW ownership to the acquisition by the Phoenix Group. A great story of a factory that was there almost from the dawn of the motor industry.
