Comments: High performance Cooper version of the humble Mini introduced to Australia in 1962. Twin carb Cooper S added July 1965, with basic Cooper dropped for 1966. In May 1966 a Series II version was introduced with flared guards which continued until the model was replaced in Aust by the square-nosed Clubman GT. Rover reintroduced the Cooper name in 1990 and continued with the model until 2000.
