Additional Names: Badged as Austin, Morris, Riley, Wolseley and Rover.
Motors: "A" Series, 4 cyl., 850, 1000, 1100, 1275cc.
Gear Box: 4 (later 5) Speed Manual, 3 (later 4) Speed Automatic
Comments: Legendary front wheel drive small car introduced to the UK in 1959, first sold in Australia from March 1961. Initially sold with an 850cc engine in Australia, then larger 1000 from March 1965, 1100 from April 1969. Automatic option from 1967, van version sold from April 1964 to 1970. All versions replaced locally by the facelifted Clubman model in August 1971, whilst classic shape soldiered on until 2000 in UK & Europe. Wood panelled "Traveller" wagon not sold in Australia.
