Comments: Very similar to the export specification Anglia of the early 1950s. Basically a 1953 Anglia (E494A) with the engine out of the Prefect (Anglia 993 cc, Prefect 1172 cc), it sold alongside the much more modern looking 100E Anglia and Prefect. Replaced in 1959 by a new Popular based on the 100E Anglia, which sold until 1962. Neither model was sold in Australia.
