Comments: Minor revisions to styling front & rear. 6-cylinder engine comes in Barra 190 (190 kW), E-Gas (XT and Futura, LPG only, 156 kW) or Barra 240T (XR6 Turbo, 245 kW) spec. V8 comes as Barra 230 (24 valves SOHC, 230 kW), Boss 260 (XR8, 32 valves DOHC, 260 kW). 5-speed manual only available in XT with Barra 190. XT and Futura sedans also have choice of 4- or 6-speed auto with Barra 190. E-Gas engine comes only with 4-speed auto in XTor Futura. XT V8 comes only with 6-speed auto. XR6 has choice of 6-speed manual, 4- or 6-speed auto. XR6 Turbo and XR8 have choice of 6-speed manual or auto.
