For the first time you can view images of every Lancia passenger car and commercial vehicle, produced between 1908 and 1975, when new. Literature collections from around the world have contributed sales catalogues, factory and coachbuilders' photos, and period illustrated advertisements which leave no doubt how each model was presented for sale by the factory. Only 1500 copies of Original Lancia - 70 Years of Trailblazing have been printed and judging by the warm reception given to this fabulous book by the Lancia cognoscenti, we expect it to become the standard by which other Lancia books will be judged. A beautifully presented book on a fascinating marque.

The book comprises

• 400 pages printed in full colour on heavyweight silk art paper

• More than 800 original illustrations of every Lancia production model, including commercial vehicles

• Data panels for every model, offering detailed specifications, prices when new, production numbers and much more

• Hard binding, colour dust-wrapper and strong slipcase

• Data DVD with Acrobat images of almost 300 factory brochures

About the Author:

Bruce Lindsay has owned, driven and enjoyed Lancia passenger cars for more than 35 years. Much of the information contained in this book is drawn from his lifetime collection of Lancia literature. Frustrated by incomplete or incorrect information sometimes published about these cars, he has received generous help from Lancia specialists around the world, who have provided images, information and corrections to his drafts.

His last book Chamberlain - Australian Innnovator chronicled the life and works of Bob Chamberlain, a great Australian engineer, and maker of the eponymous Chamberlain tractor. Sadly, both editions of this book are now out of print but Lindsay has a new book coming out in April 2010 - Armstrong Siddeley - The Sphinx with the the Heart of a Lion which we are looking forward to seeing!
