DELIVERY INFORMATION

Where possible, we try to send your order out the same day if it is received before 3.00 pm Perth time (5.00 pm EST) so that you receive your order in a timely manner.

DELIVERY OPTIONS

We provide three delivery options for our customers:

  1. Australian Air Express (AAE) Courier $8.95
  2. Australia Post (Perth Metro) $5.70
  3. Australia Post Air Mail (charged at cost)

1. Australian Air Express (AAE) Courier $8.95

This option is available to all Australian customers and includes packaging costs. Your order can include multiple items for $8.95.

We use AAE as they provide a fast and efficient service around Australia at a very reasonable price. On the rare occasion there is a delay with delivery, your parcel is easily traced.

  • Delivery is generally overnight to main centres, although you should allow two days, particularly at peak times like Christmas. Smaller country areas may taken an extra day.
  • A signature is usually required upon delivery. However, if no one is likely to be home, the parcel can be authorized to be left without a signature at the front door/in carport/under mat etc by specifying your instructions in the "Delivery Instructions" field when ordering.
  • If specifying delivery instructions, please do not ask the courier to contact you regarding your delivery as they are not obliged to carry mobile phones.
  • If no one is home at the time of delivery and no delivery instructions are specified, a card will be left with details on how to collect your parcel. Please note that if a card is placed in your letterbox and your parcel is taken to the local post office, they will generally only hold it for a maximum of one week. Prompt collection is advised - please ask for an AAE parcel when collecting as these are often kept separate from the regular Parcel Post items.
  • AAE can also deliver to a Post Office Box, a business address or someone else's address if no one is likely to be home during the day to sign for a delivery or if you do not wish the parcel to be left.
  • There are some books that we sell which are very heavy and because of this, $15.95 is charged for delivery. If a book incurs this higher rate, then the $15.95 charge is mentioned in the website description for the book.

2. Australia Post (Perth Metro) $5.70

This option is for customers within the Perth Metropolitan Area including Mandurah, covering postcodes 6000 - 6210 and 6800 - 6999 and automatically appears as a delivery option for delivery to these areas.

  • Usual delivery time 1-2 days.
  • No signature is required for delivery.
  • We generally don't send orders outside these areas with Australia Post as AAE has proven to be much quicker and is easily traced, whereas order sent by Australia Post are road freight and are harder to track. Because of the distances involved and the weight of orders, the AAE price is usually very close or better than what it would cost to send Eastern States orders with Australia Post.

3. Australia Post Air Mail (At Cost)

International delivery is via Australia Post Air Mail. Please allow up to 21 working days for the delivery of your parcel, although delivery is normally quicker than this to most destinations. Delivery times can vary because of customs regulations, time of year and size and weight of your order. This option automatically appears for delivery to addresses outside Australia.

  • Please note that there may be local taxes/duties payable when you receive your order and that we bear no responsibility for these - we have no way of knowing these implications for all the countries we deliver to!
  • Postage is calculated by weight of the parcel and end destination. For the countries we regularly deliver to, our website will calculate the airmail cost and advise before you finalise your order. If this doesn't occur and you'd like a quote, please use the "Comments" field when ordering to ask us.
  • All orders to the value of AU$60 or more will automatically be insured for a small fee assuming Australia Post offers this service to your country. This enables the parcel to be traced if it goes missing.
  • The Australian Goods and Services Tax (GST) will automatically be deducted from your order when processing.
  • No signature is required upon delivery.
