Description: This is a book about an impossible dream that came true. Two men, quite literally greybeards, who take two old motorcycles, a 1965 Panther and a 1954 Norton, and ride them from Beijing to Arnhem. Des Molloy (Panther) and Dick Huurdeman (Norton) took Des`s son Steve along as cameraman and general factotum and while Des and Steve completed the trek, Dick had to fly from Iran to Holland. Nevertheless, the bikes made it halfway around the world and Des is now planning his next great trip. It is a great story and well written to appeal to anyone who appreciates adventure, but especially classic motorcycle owners and enthusiasts.
